Outlined below are steps that you might need to consider with your local Bin-Sense dealer to ensure your bins can continue to provide uninterrupted grain monitoring service.
In several regions around the world, mobile carriers have begun decommissioning their 3G networks. In Canada, Rogers and Bell have already started this 3G decommissioning work which have impacted 3G devices that rely on this infrastructure. As we approach March 2027, the majority of the remaining 3G networks provided by Telus, SaskTel, and other mobile network operators in Canada are set to follow suit with 3G network decommissioning.
